Caraniche is a psychological consulting firm that delivers specialist psychological services including EAP, CISM, forensic services, training, drug and alcohol counselling, research, evaluation and consultancy to the local government, health and welfare sectors. Established in Melbourne in 1993, Caraniche commenced its operations delivering alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment programs through the Department of Justice.
Over the past 13 years Caraniche has diversified into three additional service divisions: Training, Workplace Services and Research, the latter of which is responsible for our internal and commercial research and evaluation. These areas of the company are founded on the same originating principles of expert staff, high-quality work, and astute customer service, all underpinned by our values, vision and mission.
Increasingly, Caraniche’s edge has become in the area of EAP, CISM and Workplace consultancy. Caraniche’s Workplace services have grown from offering EAP counselling to providing a full suite of workplace interventions based upon a workplace wellbeing model that includes wellness sessions and interactive web based programs. This service is called MyEAP and enables Caraniche to tailor workplace solutions customised to the needs of our client organizations.
Our many years of delivering alcohol and other drug programs have resulted in Caraniche becoming a Victorian Department of Health accredited AOD provider. Caraniche is also highly regarded as a trauma service specialising in CISM and providing internationally accredited training in the management of critical incidents in the workplace.
