Caraniche takes pride in delivering innovative, evidence-based services of the highest quality, and the Research and Professional Practice (RPP) division plays a key role in ensuring we continually meet this objective. RPP works strategically across the organisation to support a scientist-practitioner approach to service delivery, which means that our services are always aligned with current best-practice within the forensic and drug and alcohol fields.

The RPP team have strong backgrounds in psychology-based research, as well as program development and evaluation. The core functions of RPP include;

·         Research: Keeping up to date on the latest research and developments in fields relevant to our   core business and disseminating findings to our staff and divisions;

·         Service evaluation: Development of service evaluation and client assessment methodologies, as well as utilisation of the data to enable internal quality assurance processes and continual improvement of our service delivery;

·         Program development: Developing new, evidence-based treatment programs to respond to  emerging needs within our client population

·         Engagement with the Forensic and AOD sectors: Communicating to the sector regarding observed trends in drug and alcohol use and offending, through conference presentations, workshops, reports and other publications

The RPP division can provide professional research, consultancy and data analysis services for external individuals, teams or organisations seeking expert advice or management of research, program development and/or evaluation projects.  Our background in both research, clinical services and training, together with our close working relationship with clients, allows us to specifically address our clients' business needs and provide strategic, actionable outcomes.
